Want to learn how the wasp makes her nest? Or why the Kokanee Salmon spawn in the fall? Maybe you just want to learn more about grizzly bears or Osprey!
Join our senior naturalist Joanne Siderius on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings for exciting programs (using trail cam videos from the park, stories and games) that help you explore and understand our wonderful region! On Mondays join Nelson WildSafeBC Community Coordinator David White to talk about bear and other wildife safey. Tuesdays brings Science in the Park to the theatre with local scientists who share their research while Toni Appleby brings an aboriginal perspective on wildlife at a time yet to be scheduled. And of course there will be story-telling and movie night to round things out.
Programs run from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. at the Kokanee Creek Nature Centre Theatre.
Keep and eye out for our Calendar for more details or to see what’s coming up!
